Today, the newest phones have a battery life of over 5 hours on average. That may sound good to you, but there are phones out there that can give you seven to nearly 13 hours. Here are the top five cell phones with the longest batteries.

LG Fathom
The LG Fathom is also a Verizon Wireless device that offers 7 hours of usage before it needs charging. Its best features are its keyboard, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi capabilities, and Windows Mobile OS.
LG Ally
Again, the LG Ally is a Verizon device that provides just a tad over 7 hours of battery life for its users. Its claim to fame is its affordable price in the Android 2.1 market.
Samsung Acclaim
The Samsung Acclaim has a nice-sized 3.2 inch touchscreen display and Android 2.1 technology. It falls in just under the LG Ally with a little over 7 hours of battery life.
If battery life is an issue with your cell phone to the point that it affects how you communicate in personal or business affairs, you might want to consider an upgrade to a phone with more than 3-5 hours of battery life.
