Double the 3DS battery life for more fun

The 3DS is going to make its debut and along side of it is some Nyko gear. The 3DS is already being questioned for its battery life so they decided to use their experience with battery and charging technology to help a brother out. How about double the battery life? How about double the battery life for 20 bucks?! Sounds like a plan. According to Joystiq, Nyko is introducing their Power Pak+  which not only doubles the life span of your play time but also has some nifty grooves on the back to give your hands some comfort.

This “Pak” is being released the same day as the 3DS so you can grab both while the gettin’s good on March 27th. Also being released a little later is Nyko’s Charge Base for 30 smackers. This station comes with a Power Pak+ and features an easy way to charge your 3DS without having to remove the battery. It also uses a LED identification to let you know when it’s charging and when it’s ready. Both accessories use the 3DS’ AC adapter for their charging capabilities. Now the only problem is to hide from life to make use of this new found power.
