In many ways . the hp envy 13 seems like a "creative generation" of notebook the industry . Intentional or not it more resemblance with Apple's notebook than its own predecessors . it's part of the first wave of PC with windows7 pre-installed . it places a large emphasis on battery life but still have a great performance . and it's a "nobleman" PC that actually give some pretty good excuses for its high price . we have spent a nice week with the notebook .

The notebook runs very cool to touch . especially in the palm rest . The curved metal edge the runs around the laptop rather sharp edge , similar to MacBook Pro . and is slightly uncomfortable if our wrists are laid heavily across it . A power plug and SD card slot (comes with its user manual on 2GB SD card , A nice touch ) on the left .

The whole notebook is quite light "enough" for the size .
