PlayStation NGP round-up: battery

The PSP2, or NGP as it's been dubbed, is finally real. And there's a lot we know about the system. It has an OLED touchscreen in addition to a rear touch panel, front- and rear-facing cameras, motion sensors, a dual analog stick setup, and more. It will also feature games from the usual suspects like Uncharted, Wipeout, and LittleBigPlanet. Maybe you want to know what's the battery life like?

An unnamed source told Eurogamer that it would be around four to five hours—which is identical to what Nintendo is claiming for the 3DS. Meanwhile, Yoshida told 1up that "It'll be about the same as the original PSP." This is despite the fact that the NGP will use a proprietary type of flash storage as opposed to the battery-sucking UMD discs of the PSP.
