Step 1 Installation
Decompress the installation file, double click "Setup.exe" file to enter setup interface, and complete the setup according to the system prompts until you see the “Installation Complete” window and click “Close”.
Note
The tool supports simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese and English these three language. When install under the simplified Chinese OS, the tool displays simplified Chinese, the same as it is installed under the traditional Chinese and English, but if you install under the other language OS, the tool displays English, too.
Step 2 Run the Media Product Tool
Click [start]->[program]->[Media Player Mass Product Tool] ->[ Media Product Tool], the window of running the tool at the first time is as follow:
Step 3 Choose and Replace Firmware.
1. Choose firmware: click“”button, then find and enter the folder you save the firmware before, choose the firmware you need and click “open”
2. Replace Firmware: Then click “Replace” and it will bring back to the original window. Tick “PRODUCTION”.
Note:
Generally, you can tick“FLASH_ERASE”at the same time according to your need. The choice “FLASH_ERASE”will format your player first and then download the firmware. All the files and information you saved will be deleted during formatting.
Step 4 Connect your player to your computer via USB cable
When successfully connected, the “download” button will switch to available state(green).
Note:
If your player failed to be recognized or updated, please connect it to your computer the way below:
① For those player designed with soft power button:
Long press the power button to turn off the player
Plug the bigger end of the USB cable into the computer interface first
Then hold down the power button and plug the other end of the USB cable into the player at the same time

② For those player designed with hard power slider button:
Sliding the button up/down or to the right/left to turn off the player
Plug the bigger end of the USB cable into the computer interface first
Then hold down the play/pause button and plug the other end of the USB cable into the player at the same time

Step 5 Download new firmware to your player
Click“”button, and it will begin to download. The progress bar will display the progress and the time on the right side. When it’s complete, the progress display 100%, it displays 0 USB device is detected.
Step 6 Disconnect it from the computer and listen to music with the new firmware
Note:
Do not disconnect the player from the computer while the downloading, so as to avoid abnormal condition when using the player for unfinished download firmware.
